Terms of use

Only the person named on the application form can use the bicycle. Children of elementary school age or younger may be refused bicycle rental.
Please note that we may stop bicycle lending due to the bad weather, such as typhoon or heavy snowing, or inspection and maintenance of the bicycles. We may refuse rental if you violated the miura cycle terms of use in the past, or when we judge that you are not eligible to rent the bicycle. If you do not return the bicycle for a long time without any notice, and we judge that your conduct is malicious, we may file a police report. Also, we may ask you to pay 50,000yen as a penalty in addition to the rental fee. Please check the bicycle's condition yourself prior to riding. Be sure to lock the bicycle when you park it. Do not park the bicycle in "No Bicycle Parking" areas or places where the bicycle blocks the passage of people and other bicycles. Do not violate traffic regulations, e.g. drunk driving, double-riding, etc. If you have trouble with the rented bicycle, You canexchange it for a different one. If the bicycle is damaged or stolen because of the user's intentional acts or careless-ness, you will be required to pay the full expenses for repair or replacement. We take no responsibility for any accidents/damages/problems etc. caused by malfunction of the bicycle. Ride the bicycle at your own risk. If you lose or damage the bicycle key, we will charge you 3,000yen (tax included) for the replacement. If you are involved in any accident while riding the bicycle, report to the police or take procedures determined by law and then report to us promptly. Parties involved in the accident should talk directly. If you violate the miura cycle Terms of Use, you are required to stop using the bicycle and return it to us, or we will retrieve the bicycle promptly. Any information received through this application is strictly confidential and will not be given to any third parties.

A bicycle is categorized as a "vehicle."

You have to follow the traffic rules when riding it.

In principle, you should ride a bicycle on roadways,exceptionally can ride on sidewalks.
Bicycle riders should keep to the left side on roadways.
Pedestrians have a priority on sidewalks. You should ride a bicycle on the side nearer to the roadways at reduced speed.
Follow safety rules.

  2. Turn the light on at night.
  3. Bicycle riders should obey the traffic lights at intersections.
